The Primary School Sports Association (PSSA) is an organisation which facilitates sports competitions for school students ages 8 -13 years old.

The organisation covers all NSW Department of Education (DoE) Primary Schools and in some cases, schools in the Catholic and private education systems.

Activities include weekly competitions in a variety of team sports such as football, netball and cricket. It also conducts carnivals in athletic, cross country running and swimming at regional, state and National level.

Ryde Zone is one zone which organises sports activities under the PSSA but at a local level for 16 primary schools.

Addition information about the organisation can be obtained through the NSW DoE Sports Unit's website.
